ABA Journal Confirms Legal Employment Shrinking

Today the ABA Journal reported a net decrease in new legal jobs in the United States over the next decade (2014 to 2024). These jobs would traditionally be filled by recent law school graduates who have been newly licensed.1

The ABA Journal went on to observe that even when positions created by lawyers leaving the profession, the employment outlook for would-be lawyers is “glum.”2
